Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed that's bursting full of essence associated with festive period, rendering it ideal for hosting a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining cordial you can use for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or to mix additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 guests
For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine every ingredients inside a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating so the sugar melts. Then, take off the heat and let it to reach room temperature completely. Decant to a sterilised bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the fridge, it can be stored for up to four weeks.
For the Batch Mix: Pour all the spirits and syrup into one big jug, allow it to infuse for one hour, then pass it through , ideally through cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the batch mix into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and agitate lightly for a minute until cold. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it using a light spray of mandarin oil above the glass.
